Tsuchigumo Daiko

Saturday 26 October, 7.30pm

"Ikigai" is a Japanese concept which literally translates as 'a reason for being', and every member of Tsuchigumo Daiko simply live to play the Taiko!

The group's 2nd annual concert builds on the success of last year's sold-out "Kokoro" with the addition of exciting new and updated material, to once more highlight the group's relentless desire to push the boundaries of Taiko, as a way of expressing its own distinctive voice and signature performance style.

The show will also feature a special guest appearance by Grammy nominated Taiko artist and renowned musician & composer, Shoji Kameda, who has been a huge influence on the group's development. This will be Shoji's first appearance on a Scottish stage, making it doubly important you don't miss this unique opportunity to see this incredible talent in person.

Come witness the power, excitement, artistry, and boundless scope of Taiko Drumming in this sensory spectacular for all ages.
